Chase Tydings reviewed our camp, along with five others in Florida, for www.DCWake.com. If you want to learn a little more about us from a customer’s point of view, click HERE . It’s a great source for learning about and comparing some of the wakeboard camps in the area. The review is very well written, almost totally unbiased (we tried to pay him), and very accurate. We have to say that because we were the only one in the class to get an A (on the 10 pt. scale, of course.)

Transition Watersports Tournament

We are helping Transition and Centurion to put on an amateur wakeboard/wakeskate tournament Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007 on Lake Ivanhoe. Its going be a fun day of riding, raffles, and prizes which including cash, wakeboards, bindings, etc. There will also be a demo from Sean, Travis, and Adam sometime during the day. Derek Got Married

On June 25th, Derek married Michelle Moretti at the Berkeley City Club in Berkeley, California. It was a beautiful wedding with all of Derek and Michelle’s closest friends and family there to celebrate. There were a few special things to note about the wedding. Sean was a one of Derek’s groomsman, which was funny because it was a little weird to see them in something other than boardshorts. Magnus Johansson and Rebecca, our first customers and close friends, came all the way from Sweden to show their support. Also, Erich Schmaltz, Integrity’s owner, was there to celebrate the big day.

Please check out this VIDEO of Orlando Wakeboard Academy’s own Current Hottie, Sean O’Brien. His good looks and charm won him a spot on Current TV, a national network that is distributed into 20 plus million homes, as their Current Hottie. The video is well edited with good music and also has a few embarrassing questions. Thanks “funky man” for representing the sport well and plugging the camp!

PS Since I’m sure all you ladies are wondering, Sean is SINGLE, again!!!

Derek smoked the “pro” by making four buoys at 60′ at 26mph. Sean was only able to grab 5 buoys at 65′ at 25mph. Sean blames it on his height but swears there will be a rematch in the near future. Pictures coming soon!
