We are helping Transition and Centurion to put on an amateur wakeboard/wakeskate tournament Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007 on Lake Ivanhoe. Its going be a fun day of riding, raffles, and prizes which including cash, wakeboards, bindings, etc. There will also be a demo from Sean, Travis, and Adam sometime during the day. As of January 1st, 2007, we are now offering accommodations. We have taken over the house at our location (the Centurion dealer’s home) to provide a full week experience at the Orlando Wakeboard Academy. Although we are very sad to see Steve go, we are excited to finally offer an overnight camp. We have changed our scheduling and pricing, so please check our SESSIONS AND PRICES page for new information.

On June 25th, Derek married Michelle Moretti at the Berkeley City Club in Berkeley, California. It was a beautiful wedding with all of Derek and Michelle’s closest friends and family there to celebrate. There were a few special things to note about the wedding. Sean was a one of Derek’s groomsman, which was funny because it was a little weird to see them in something other than boardshorts. Magnus Johansson and Rebecca, our first customers and close friends, came all the way from Sweden to show their support. Also, Erich Schmaltz, Integrity’s owner, was there to celebrate the big day.

Congrats to Steve Kneipp for winning our 10 lesson package for this year’s Toys for Tots Auction from Wakeworld.com. Thanks to everyone to particitpated for this great cause. All proceeds from the auctions went towards the purchase of toys for the Marine’s Toys For Tots program. We look forward to helping out again next year.

We haven’t been able to think of a good OWA graphic, so WE WANT YOUR HELP. We are giving away lessons to the person who designs the best Orlando Wakeboard Academy graphic for the boat.
